There’s a new Google thing current and potential micro-ISVs should add to their toolbox: Google Trends.
Over at this Business of Software thread, Roy Paterson mentioned it a couple of days ago. Here’s the official desc. again:
“For the first time ever, Google is making it possible to sift through billions of search queries from around the world to see what people are thinking about,” said Marissa Mayer, vice president, Search Products and User Experience, Google Inc.
Besides being a supergood tool for researching if people are looking for the type of solutions your micro-ISV can provide, it’s got other uses, like seeing who is searching for cracks to your software, as Adam discusses over at this Business of Software thread.
