He and his wife are taking it pretty hard. They only had it for 5 years and never knew how hold it was. They picked it up from a shelter I think. Apparently it got some form of cancer. He lives in California, and for years, he would send us weekly pictures of the cat being silly, sleeping on top of his warm monitor, or just hanging out. Cat always slept right next to him.
